      Fast & furious, but fun at the same time.

      Pros

      The main reason I enjoy working at Titus is the people. We have some truly remarkable personalities and all get along. There is a generous benefit package including health, life, dental & vision insurance, as well as 401K. It's a casual, yet professional atmosphere with interesting work.

      Cons

      We are a very busy company (which is a good thing) but it does create a reactive environment as opposed to a proactive one, which can lead to frustration.

      There's nothing worse than falling into a "reactive environment". We've invested a ton of time and effort to switching into a more proactive approach. We believe we've achieved this goal, but like all things, we must continue to improve daily. With the continued support of great employees like you... I know we'll remain the "bar setter" for Central Texas!

      Pros

      Good group of people who really care about their work and how it represents the TEAM. Innovative and comprehensive benefits for a specialty contractor. It is very gratifying to work on high profile projects that are changing the City of Austin's skyline.

      Cons

      It's construction, what can you say...it's always crazy, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It sure keeps you performing at your best.

      Some things never change... lots of work going on, which makes it seem "crazy". One major change is our more proactive approach and the attention our support staff have to communicating change. Keeping everyone on the same page helps keep the "crazy" out of our success!

      Pros

      Ownership and management are very approachable and engaged with employees. It seems like everyone is working to be proactive and I've seen communications over the last year increase. It's like everyone wants to be on the same page... what a concept! I came here because I thought there was an opportunity for something great... I have yet to be disappointed!

      Cons

      Company seems to carry a bad reputation from prior ownership; however, Shelly has been running things for several years now. From what I can tell, it's way better however, people on the outside still think its the "old Titus".
