Flexible schedule, but poor management and weak culture
Pros
Very flexible schedule, willing to work with me regarding daycare. Friendly work environment, ideal for students and people with a second job. Near downtown and close to the highway.
Cons
Management is poor and not structurally sound. There is no strong infrastructure in place to support the company. Company culture is weak and essentially nonexistent, with limited leadership from the top down. Payroll is often late by weeks at a time. No product has been produced; cash flow is primarily from investors. The company is not focused on bringing a single product to market and is instead working on multiple initiatives, which diverts engineering resources away from completing a sellable product. At the time of this statement, the company does not have a product ready for sale. Treatment for some individuals appears to be influenced by favoritism rather than performance.
