Desperate place to work

Pros

Most colleagues are grounded and supportive. Some of them are exceptionally talented and probably the best in the industry. It is a relatively small company so you get lots of experience. An ability to multi-task is essential if you work at TV3, I suppose that ends up being a good thing.

Cons

The company is based in the middle of an industrial estate with a really bad public transport system supporting it. The salaries are disgraceful for the most part. Many of the senior management have superiority complexes and favouritism is rife. Some of the management are not even experienced at their jobs and some appear to have been given the role on a who you know basis. There's sexist environment at TV3. Underhand management style. Low morale amongst staff.

Pros

Small friendly company, everyone works hard, the people that work there are just brilliant, great plce to get your foot in the door and work your way up quickly. If you work hard, you're rewarded.

Cons

3 jobs to one person, its all hands on deck, if something needs to get done then just do it. Some people dont like that, i personally didnt mind as it was how I learned new skills that allowed me to move on, but a lot of people who just want to do their job and nothing else might not like it.

Waste of talent and time

Pros

Free hot drinks and water. Majority of regular staff work extremely hard

Cons

No career development, no training, low morale, no updates after appraisals. No involvement of staff for future changes in company. Most managers and directors have been in the company from the beginning and are there due to being in the right place at the right time. Managers and Directors have very little experience working for other companies and are very unprofessional and incompetent in their actions. Company not interested in staff morale. Nepotism is rife and cliques prevalent. Equipment is ancient and not enough staff numbers.
