Pros

We have a fun team, good pay, and excellent healthcare. It's a fully remote job, so with that comes flexibility in your daily life.

Cons

Lots of cut-backs and layoffs in the past couple of years. Always feel an underlying since of "will I be next" that makes it a little stressful. The company functions like a startup, even though they have been around for quite a while. Speed is definitely desired over planning, and process. On the surface that might seem like a pro, but living it has definitely been frustrating. I will say we try to make things better, but speed always wins out and the code often times shows it. I also was promised a path of career growth during my interviews that is non-existent. There isn't anywhere to move up and with all the cut backs, I don't imagine my pay will continue to be great. I just came in at a time that they were throwing money at candidates, so that's a bit of a buffer, however recent inflation is being felt hard. And the cut back on our 401k, is more or less a pay cut.

Pros

Cool industry, cool clients, good coworkers.

Cons

CEO - he is the most toxic human being on the planet. He has no moral compass and is willing to throw anyone under the bus to save his own skin. The fact that the board still employs him is an embarrassment. Because of him, Tagboard has lost so many amazing people and will continue to lose them.
