Pros

Good leave and pay is slightly above what other companies would provide. No commission or bonuses for anyone who does sales though.

Cons

DON'T APPLY! Lots of politics, in-fighting, lack of support for those who are not close to managers and leaders. HR is a waste of time as they turn a blind eye to racism, sexism and any other form of complaints that require immediate attention and decision making. I made multiple complaints to multiple team leaders and managers about sexism and racism. They turned a blind eye, literally ignored my emails requiring immediate action on the complaint and for 1 whole year, I stayed in the company with no support, a lot of backtalk and many chats to get me out of the company but sadly for them, they didn't have anything solid to get me out of there. I got to leave on my terms with my head held high whilst leaving behind the worst company I have ever heard of. Therefore, just like any cold-hearted company, this one blamed the person who spoke up against sexism and racism. I was singled out. Never provided opportunities to grow. Meanwhile, the person I alleged sexism against got a promotion within 1 month and was also provided with a thank you gift card for their work. I was singled out and called a "problem" behind closed doors. I stuck it out and forgave everything and decided to focus on my career alone and they were full of lies. Provided me with no opportunity to grow whilst the manager of the department stomped their feet and got whatever they want. We all danced to their tune and the whole company is now the worst it has even been in terms of morale. Bad behaviour, bullies, sexists and racists are tolerated and kept around. The role I signed up for was not what I was pitched or what was written in the job description; they didn't want to hear it. We just had to do whatever they asked. no questions. No objections. No space to talk. They are excused and fostered into growth whilst those who speak up are reprimanded. Whatever was happening was illegal and many times I thought I should take this to court with all the evidence I have against them. I still contemplate whether I should. I once sat in a meeting with my manager and HR and nearly cried about how I stressed I was and they turned around and said: "is that what is making you act out lately?" Everything was a plot to fire me for speaking out. There was no humanity anywhere. Standing up for yourself is hard when you are trying to point out bad behaviour in people who are favoured and close to managers and the CEO. The whole company from CEO down was a joke and I am glad I left. Their detriment is yet to come for how they treat their employees. Especially the managers in marketing. I still remember saying my last bye to the manager as she rushed me out of there and closed the door behind me. I am so happy I left and can pursue my career and grow finally don't bother joining this company, they won't have your back if you want to make real change or grow. Good people with good work ethics are used and abused so you are better off elsewhere.

Do not join this toxic company

Pros

I have worked here for over 5 years so feel like I can give an honest answer. In the past, the culture at this company has been the best I have ever experienced. They cared and looked after their employees, to the utmost degree.

Cons

Unfortunately the above great culture has changed over the past number of years. The culture is now toxic, mostly led and instigated by the Senior Management team. Four of the long-term HR team members have resigned/been made redundant over the past year (including one who was pregnant), which seems pretty telling about the awful culture. Members of the Finance team have resigned without another role to go to, simply due to a horrendous CFO. This company has a long way to go in order to right these issues.
