Pros
You have the option to work from home if necessary, but be aware that your time will be closely monitored down to the minute. Salaries are paid monthly, and while bonuses are offered, there have been instances where they weren't always paid, so caution is advised. As for colleagues, while some are pleasant to work with, there are noticeable cliques within the team.
Cons
They monitor everything! You are required to move your mouse every five minutes, or you will be questioned and asked to explain any periods of inactivity. ActivTrack, a tool that was installed without prior notice, is used to closely monitor your actions. You have no choice to abide by these rules. Micromanagement is pervasive. You can expect to receive messages at any time—weekends, holidays, before or after work—with little regard for your personal time. The manager will contact you whenever they choose, and this relentless approach has become standard practice. Regarding targets, even when you achieve them, new KPIs are introduced to diminish your accomplishments. The criteria are often adjusted to align with management’s objectives, disregarding your efforts. Team morale is significantly low. Inquiries about Christmas parties will yield little information, as they did not take place. For team meet-ups, employees are expected to cover their own expenses. Staff departures are handled with little transparency; employees often leave, and we are informed overnight without any explanation.
