Pros

Remote work, but there is no limit to what management keeps demanding, the nonstop changes forced on us, and the ridiculous expectations pushed every day.

Cons

Just like I said, management's demands never stop. Remote work becomes completely pointless because you are forced to go on-site almost all the time! It feels even more exhausting when you expect to stay home, then suddenly get dragged out and forced to report on-site.

We welcome honest feedback from current and former employees, including critical perspectives. However, we believe transparency matters, and this review contains multiple factual inconsistencies that prevent us from verifying it as originating from an actual employee experience. Telnyx has not employed a "Junior Security Operations Analyst" within our US operations, we do not operate an office in Austin, Texas, and employees in comparable roles are not required to work on-site as described. Our teams operate in a highly technical, fast-paced, and flexible environment with access to modern infrastructure, strong engineering resources, and remote collaboration tools. We remain focused on building a culture centered around ownership, impact, and continuous growth.

Pros

The engineering team was technically strong and compensation was competitive.

Cons

The primary issue was the frequency of product direction changes that disrupted long-term stability. Roadmaps shifted often, sometimes mid-development cycle, forcing teams to pause and redirect work. Instead of refining and stabilizing features, attention moved rapidly to new initiatives. This created unnecessary rework and prevented thoughtful iteration. Deadlines remained aggressive despite changing scope, which added pressure without improving clarity. Over time, the unpredictability made it difficult to build sustainable systems or maintain confidence in strategic planning.
