      Flexible Hours, Good locations to work at.

      If you're ok with mild racism, sexism and having all normal workers rights ignored please apply to LOLA. Of course there are some venues that treat staff with respect but the majority will treat you as worthless idiots. I worked at the Shard- Shangri La Hotel (events department) for 10 hours without a break and was shouted at and elbowed by the manager for picking up the wrong glass from a table. Certain Ambassadors are just awful people and treat you so badly. You get shouted at for not knowing where things are when you're in a new venue and no one explains where things are properly. I have had to wait hours outside in the cold before shifts that had been rescheduled and had to work in cloakrooms where the temperature was near freezing for the whole night without any warning to wrap up. So many more incidents.

      Sorry you feel you didn't have a good experience working for LOLA.       There's nothing good about LOLA

      Pay is decent, more than most agencies I worked with so far. Online booking system is a good idea. Flexible shifts

      I've been a LOLA employee since June. I've only ever worked 1 shift after applying for well over 50-60 between then and now. I called them today asking for shifts as I was told to do so in training if I have not got any and they palmed me off by telling me to apply for availability and emergency shifts. They also told me the shifts at the moment are for 'favourites and regulars only'. They have at least 5-10 venues a day and cannot put me one just 1. I've been confirmed for shifts but have always been cancelled 2 days before each time - no explanation why. I have a very low opinion of LOLA as just a few days ago while searching for shift, they put next to the event title 'Good looking guys only to apply please'. I'm female and I even found that so disrespectful. Who are they to decide who is good looking and who isn't. It is very rude and I will not be working for LOLA again

      the booking systemis nicely organised , they make themselves sound like butter wouldnt melt on the phone , i was in the their office for the initial interview and a few of the office staff were ridiculing one their employees quite openly, calling him derogatory names, very unprofessional ,,,,,

      Cons

      very little work, shifts cancelled at last minute ,,,, saying suddenly the shift you applied for is unavailable ,, no explanation or feedback , constantly blaming their clients, which i have come to disbelieve,
