Pros
Majority of the office staff were wonderful to work with, and made you feel welcome And they also was a Christmas goodie bags with products in etc that we were all given.
Cons
Lack of understanding from the CEO and management of what payroll is, what it evolves and for such a large organisation with over 1500 employees, the amount of manual work required was substantial. Also a lot of overtime was required to try and ensure payroll ran as smoothly as possible, without any appreciation, recognition, or even a thank you. All I did was reduce my hourly rate to just above minimum wage, and when brought up with line manager was just given a wishy washey answer. Substantial amount of middle management and few in higher who only have their current position due to longitude of service and if the jobs were up for vacant I doubt they would get the job if they applied.
