Favouritism and Poor Management

Pros

The grantees they support are incredibly inspiring.

Cons

Organisation is riddled with favouritism - those that are the favoured ones (especially by certain VPs) are progressed and given promotions, training and growth. Skews towards favouring only certain personality types & people. Particularly white, North Americans & extroverts that shout loudest. Do not live by what they externally promote as their values. Diversity and inclusion is not truly progressed or believed in by management and is clear in their practices and behaviours. Poor management practices allowed to continue despite CEO knowing what was taking place & doing nothing. Pay is handled by managers - allowing no oversight to ensure equity across teams. Some people can be the same level & doing the same job and just be paid less based on managers discretion.

Pros

Peers a nice and talented people

Cons

It is a shambles, fails to meet some of the most basic expectations you would anticipate from an employer. Subjective and preferential treatment is rife.
