Pros

Fun co-workers, start-up feel, relaxed environment.. that's it.

Cons

Terrible management - micromanaging was bad, upper level management played favorites, drank way too much (I promise, it was not as fun as it sounded). SO. MUCH. INSTABILITY. SO. MANY. LAYOFFS. if you are here for longer than 5 months, you are lucky. Other recruiting companies know of TIG because of how toxic it is. when I was interviewing for other jobs, I had multiple recruiters ask how long I had been at TIG for and when I said 5 months, they were shocked I lasted so long. let that sink in. If you are considering applying/working here.. DO NOT!! I can't emphasize enough how bad it is here. Also, the base pay is really low compared to other companies and when they tell you you'll make "commission" that is such BS you only make 2% which is like $20.. and trust me that's nothing. anyone can do better than here.

Pros

At least I didn’t end up working there.

Cons

DO NOT apply here! I made it into the final interview rounds with the intersect group. I had an interview with the director of the Atlanta office for a recruiting position. He asked me why I was trying to leave the staffing agency I was currently working for because he knew the office director. I told him the truth which was I was being proactive because the company was going through acquisitions and the branch I worked for was going to be restructured. I told them that my search was confidential and to not contact my current employer. After my final interview, he or a member of his team called my boss. No one from my company knew about my interviewing. My boss pulled me aside and said that he received a call from the intersect group and that they were interviewing his recruiter and gave him the times of my interviews. Let’s just say I had to find a new job even quicker after that. What the intersect group did was unethical and borderline illegal. Stay far, far away.

Horrible Company

Pros

None. The place used to be wonderful but the current CEO and senior leadership is terrible and only care about making money for the PE firm.

Cons

The CEO is a liar. Leadership only cares about the transaction, not the people. All internal procedures to keep things equitable and fair were ripped out. It’s now survival of the fittest and dog eat dog. Almost the entire company has turned over since the CEO joined and he couldn’t be happier about it. It’s his way or the highway. They have turned the agency into a call center and not a staffing agency. No training. Everyone out for themselves. DO NOT work here- this is your warning.
