Pros

Everyone at Savvy Source is concerned about the well being of children, and is working hard towards that goal. It's also a great company for anyone willing to learn the ins and outs of a start-up while working hard to get several different jobs done. The effort you put in is the effort you get out of a start-up and this is very true for Savvy Source. If you're willing to put in the effort you'll learn and grow and progress your career along with helping a company that is genuinely trying to do some good in the education field.

Cons

As with any start-up, the hours depend on what needs to get done. If a job is taking longer than the usual 9-5 pace, then you'll have to put in extra effort.

Pros

It was fun to say I worked at a start up. I came in with the idea that there would be a lot of flexibility, and the positive notion of donating to local education was a plus.

Cons

A revolving door of employees cycle through the gates of Savvy Source. In my time, I saw many people terminated based on the CEO's mood... it seems that innovative ideas or presenting any objections to the CEO's ideas will end up getting you canned. There is no trust for employees and "contracts" change. What the CEO promises one day will be different the second she changes her mind, regardless of circumstances of her employees. She lusts over absolute control. Not sure where the revenue is coming from... it isn't profit dollars.
