Career progression non-existant with unprofessional senior management.
Pros
- Training is not bad, but a lot to improve on. There is no formal GCP training required or provided. - Staff work very hard with a large workload, almost doormat for sponsors. - Staff (but funnily not senior management) have excellent academic qualifications. - The experience gained working here is very good as you end up having to do every aspect of clinical trials that is outside your job description.
Cons
- Senior management are out of touch with technology, salaries and work/life balance. - Senior management are quite happy to lose good staff as they have accepted that staff move on, so try nothing retain them. The turnaround is phenomenal for such a small company. If they considered offering career progression, they would have staff who stayed longer and were happier. - Salaries are outdated - Computer systems, laptops and phones are outdated - Expectation of staff to work long hours and travel at ridiculous times and weekends without getting time back or extra pay. - Senior management have shown unprofessional behaviour several times towards staff and sponsors. They enjoy gossiping about staff and sponsors. - Staff have similair roles and responsibilities as senior management despite it not being in their job description, having lower salaries and without the job title. Appreciation and acknowledgement is non-existant.
