    Advice to Management

My particular management at a Welsh store were phenomenal and I can't recommend working for Thomas Sabo enough. I am a student and the company and Management made it possible for me to have stable employment during my studies. I felt valued and appreciated. I left a management role with another large retail store and went back to being sales with TS and it was the best decision I ever made. Wholeheartedly recommend this...

    Advice to Management

A little bit of tough love when staff are unkind they forget that you are there to do your Job too. HR following policies regarding bullying should he taken far more serious instead of passing it on to the the team member, how about actually creating an effective plan to ensure that this doesn't happen again, as it already did prior with 2 staff members that left because of it. Pay your staff their worth. The Store Manager...

I have been working at Thomas Sabo part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Get brilliant discount and allocation is amazing too! Get commission with everything you sell which is a bonus on pay day!

    Cons

Management tend to look down on sale assistants and don’t seem to be treated fairly. Little bit too clicky within the business, a lot of members of staff tend to be sucking up to management for either extra hours- which again isn’t fair!

    Pros

    Cons

Area manager bulling and HR ignorant

I worked at Thomas Sabo part-time for less than a year

    Pros

None that I can think of, all staff Back stabbers!

    Cons

Jewellery not as high end as perceived, it’s only silver with gold plait. Products are out dated and not as on trend as the company think, you can get the same products for a fraction of the price in local stores. Staff very clicky, if you’re face don’t fit you won’t last. Management manipulate sales to get high commision, they make sure they get all the highly sales put through on their numbers and lower staff...

    Advice to Management

Area manager needs to be more approachable and investigate managers timekeeping ands behaviour! Stop playing favourites and then maybe the high turnover of staff need not be so bad.

I worked at Thomas Sabo full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great discount! Once you actually receive it!? Some great product. Met some real friends working here! Allocation allowance! Not much else

    Cons

Communication is poor from head office and superiors. Too many changes in the company not always for the better. Too many fantastic staff members lost over the years as you are ignored or left to own devices if your not one of the favourites! Pay is too low for management

    Advice to Management

Ask your shop floor staff what is going on! I believe a lot goes on that very senior management is not aware of. Hold onto your fantastic staff members ( not many left now) listen and actually action any concerns they have. You also need to look at your pay scale - make it competitive within the market, fair across the board and look at pay rises! This used to be such a unique, quirky, stand out brand but they have sadly...
