- Former Contractor★★★★★

nice company to work for, good commision
Cons

- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Good pay if you work hard
Cons
Lots of different pay scales amongst employees
- Current Contractor, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
As cabin crew you are not over worked, you earn a good basic wage, along with additional hourly pay and commission. You work with amazing people and go to amazing places. All accommodation, food and drinks are paid for while visiting other countries.
Cons
Work is only temporary fixed term contracts, so you start I'm March and finish in November. No opportunity to progress to cabin managers as you are promoted through seniority, not merit

The Rolls Royce of charter airlines, but getting a bit rusty here and there and needs a good polish.

Fly approximately 500 hrs/year, significantly less than easyJet/BA. Airline large enough to have plenty of opportunities for different types of flying yet small enough so you're not just a number. Regional bases plus good pay and excellent benefits sets Thomsonfly apart from many other airlines.
Cons
Company is currently trimming it's fleet after merging with First Choice Airways, meaning career progression is slower than expected (i.e. promotion to Capt), however benefits such as Final Salary pension scheme and years spent as First Officer counting towards Capt's annual salary increments negate this somewhat. Company is rather disorganised and seems prone to making a complete hash of IT and administrative matters. Holiday and flight concessions not bad, but difficult to access because crappy staff services dept.

Pros
Pay was good and uniform was provided for free
Cons
Awful fixed term contracts, couldn’t care about you individually as a staff member was just a number to them. Little room for progression or movement as the company is full of dinosaurs who couldn’t care about there jobs but on old legacy contracts. Even after 4 years of fixed term contract no sign of year round job. The issue with fixed term contracts every you are seen as a new employer, so even after 4 years I got no travel benefits or sick pay for the 1st 3 months (the contract was only 7!!)

Pros
Lovely crew Great support from management Potential to earn bonus on each flight
Cons
No fulltime opportunities as the airline operates on a seasonal basis.
