Pros
Above average pay for industry, decent benefits, pretty much everybody at the corporate office above the secretary level gets a car. Quality OK compared to competition. Great Job Security, up until recently management refused to fire under performing employees. I've heard that has changed in the past few months though.
Cons
Managements hiring and promoting decisions creates dissension among employees. In an extremely specialized industry they have hired VP's & GM's with absolutely no experience managing people or running a heavy industrial manufacturing operation that also functions as a general contractor in the marketplace. Management created several VP level positions and didn't even talk to current employees because they didn't want to take them away from their current position. Little to no cooperation between sales people at different plants. Sales people were constantly poaching into other plants territories.
