Pros

Some pretty cool coworkers for the time being. Competitive hourly salary for back of house, best front of house hourly rate I have ever heard of.

Cons

Incompetent and bloated upper management. The people who make decisions for the restaurant are unrealistic, petty, and completely absent when you need them. No opportunity for advancement because they will hire someone out from under you to pay them less, despite the very high turnover. Toxic work environment, managers speak poorly of hourly employees in front of others. No COVID safety standards in place, they do NOT check vaccination status and do not require masks. Unequal application of rules and rules are applied discriminately. Front of house has to pay for meals if they want to eat while they work doubles. Managers take a lot of time off and can't be bothered deciding whether to remain open or not for Christmas until last minute, and then fail to communicate the decision until the week of.

Pros

You can make decent money, for the small cost of your mental health

Cons

This place used to be a wonderful place to work. The management was phenomenal, the environment was light and the staff was a genuine team. With management changes in 2022, along with the most recent switch in the management team with the new year, this establishment has taken a turn for the worst. It is arguably the most toxic, draining environment I’ve ever had the displeasure of being a part of. This doesn’t just entail the foh either, because the boh is just as bad. The kitchen is nothing short of a dumpster fire. The management teams through and through are disrespectful, belittling, and power driven. The GM is one of the worst human beings I’ve had to deal with. He expects the staff to do things he would never do himself. He’s lazy but will still take credit for any and every accomplishment that occurs within the company. Boasts about how he has people wrapped his finger and how much they pay him to do absolutely nothing. Regardless how much you express concerns, problems or discrepancies he will invalidate and brush off anything that isn’t to his concern. Hiring him was probably the worst thing the company could’ve done for itself, his turn over rates are out of this world and I watched people who opened with this restaurant run out because of him, including myself. So do yourself the favor, and steer clear of this dictatorship of a restaurant.

Pros

The coworkers were some cool people and it was definitely a simple job.

Cons

Management was not the best and did not really care about you unless you had been there for years
