Pros

There are interesting projects, but you aren't given autonomy to work

Cons

A culture of blame, lack of accountability and personal vendettas.

Pros

Experience in the travel industry

Cons

All about hierarchy and who you know instead of appreciating hard workers. Bosses don’t care about their staff wellbeing and expected to work until the job is done instead of having a work life balance. Industry discounts not very appealing. Salary not competitive. Departments don’t like to mix. Technology is far behind.

Pros

(IT dept) Some exciting projects; Embracing of new technologies; Freedom to perform at your best; Good support for training and new skills acquisition. If you are in a position of management you are free to continuously improve processes independently.

Cons

Regrettably it is likely that most of the people you work with will not be type A or high performers. Can be difficult to improve methods/processes unless you are in a position of authority.
