          Pros

As a fast-growing company there is always something new to be doing and learning, and there is a lot of scope to take the initiative and eventual credit for successes. The company has a good ethical foundation and the international network of partners mean that there are many varied stakeholders, which prevent things from becoming insular. There are regular socials and there is often good conversation in the office around all sorts of topics.

          Cons

There is more work to do than can be shared around, it's always full-on and accelerating.

            Pros

Lovely team of sociable, down-to-earth people making it a lovely environment in which to work. Flexible working hours mean you can easily have a good work/life balance

            Cons

Being a start-up, there is a lot of work and you will occasionally have to muck in to help the team forward, even if that means that your own work gets de-prioritised. Therefore if you like just ticking off a to-do list and going home, this probably isn't the job for you. However it makes it a dynamic, sometimes fast-paced place to work where you get to use your creativity and learn a lot.

              Pros

Very hardworking and capable team. Management care about individuals and their progress, listen to staff and have ambitious plans for the company in general which is exciting to be a part of. Great social aspects with regular organised outings and more casual team socialising as well, everyone is really friendly and gets on well.

              Cons

Ideally the office would be closer to town as Temple Meads is a bit of deadzone, however understandable as other people need to commute in from out of town.

                Pros

There is great scope to get involved and feel a part of the growth of the company, and to take ownership on projects. From my experience they are very supportive and understanding - seem to be really invested in their staff! Really friendly team with regular social events. Nice atmosphere in the office, which is in a brilliant central location in Bristol. Great work - life balance.

                Cons

Being a start up now scaling up, it is a dynamic working environment and lack of structure can occasionally be a bit frustrating.

The Company is very collaborative and encourages open discussion amongst all employees/departments whatever level of the business they sit in. They care about their customers and their staff. There is very little hierarchy or bureaucracy to get in the way of implementing change. It is a dynamic place to work with lots of great motivational perks such as employee recognition schemes, social events and flexible start/end times.

I have a 5 year gap in my work history due to an illness. How do I explain this? I can't lie, SSD is on my background check as a previous employer. I am on it and looking to re-enter the job market and get off of it, but I understand it is a reason for employers to pause in hiring me.

                      Senior Associate

How do you interview for a position when you are under-qualified based on seniority but not based on skills? I currently serve as a senior associate for a reputable consulting firm, and I have an interview for an associate director position. However, I am just shy of the minimum YOE requirement included on the job application and relatively young (though I meet all of the other requirements). Any advice on convincing the hiring manager I am ready for a mid-level role?

                      EY

Had 4 behavioral interviews for a position last week. Last Friday (which was the last of the four interviews), the interviewer spent most of the interview selling me on the job and didn't ask me any questions. She ended the interview by saying she thinks I am confident and would be a great fit for the role. I took this as a good sign but giving it's 2023 you never truly know. Has anyone ever had an interviewer do something similar and not gotten the job?
