- Compensation is pretty poor. Pay rises the last couple of years have been bellow the rest of the market. Didn't help that they made the pay bands public showing everyone how underpaid they were. You shouldn't do this if you're not going to offer proper corrections.
- Benefits haven't been updated since we left Arm. Overall package has actually decreased as extra cash from Arm has gone away. This was supposed to be replaced with the RSUs but as IPO still looks a way off, no one is counting on these anymore. The value of these is also pretty poor unless you are a director or TD is somehow worth 5bil!
- Generally quality of staff has declined over the last couple of years. Amazing talents like Michelle have been replaced with corporate middle managers who only care about hitting numbers. Also too many junior hires who have only done bootcamps. They can be a bit clueless at times and the product quality will suffer for it eventually.
- Company is in a weird state due to the Arm acquisition and Covid. People are either based around old arm offices or in random parts of the world and management now can't decide if we're fully remote or on site again.
- Hard to put into words but vibe just isn't what it was. Turned into just another silicon valley startup.
