Supportive field management, but upper management struggles
Pros
The field level management is firm but reasonable. There’s no reason to worry about safety as the team behind it will gladly get you what you need whenever you need it. Pay always comes in on time. The support teams for technical specs and training are top notch. Company phone. Travel for work is paid for by company.
Cons
Upper management are states based with zero clue about things north of the border. The company has and will hide behind their ambiguous employment contract to strip away salary. Disposable equipment needs to be bought as you need it. But having to go buy it is not being prepared? The difference between sales team wants and company wants means the field workers are always catching crap from someone. Upper management believes going on EI is a reasonable option for workers.
