      Formerly great company in transition

      Pros

      You can gain skills in lots of areas - PM, Marketing, CS, Procurement, Training, because in a smaller company like this everyone contributes to get product launched. Parent company Fellowes treats employees very well.

      Cons

      Trendway is in a transitional period now where they figure out how they fit into Fellowes Contract Interiors. Jobs are being streamlined among the 3 companies that make up FCI.

      Pros

      Employee owned company provides 401k match, profit sharing and benefits. Company is located in Holland Michigan which is a wonderful small college town with many activities.

      Cons

      Culture of company is changing for the negative. Company was wonderful but top management changes and owner disconnect have been detrimental to company participation and employee empowerment. Company direction and strategy is out of touch which has resulted in employee exiting for better culture / future opportunities.

      Pros

      As a remote employee I have plenty of freedom, as long as my work is completed to the best of my ability. The product is nice and the lead times are great. The people I work with are very responsive and supportive. Leadership is moving in the right direction, which wasn't the case 2 years ago! Also the Neocon parties are great! Honestly it's the ideal work environment!

      Cons

      Biggest downside is my salary, it's good, but not good enough to stop me from looking elsewhere if I'm offered more money.
