Pros

The people (non leadership) are brilliant and good at their jobs. Work life balance is ok.

Cons

Toxic, jaded and desperate atmosphere, inspired and cultivated by leadership. Below average benefits. Cliquey (if leadership/management feel you are not one of them, they make that very clear indeed). Everyone left is just desperate to keep their jobs in this market and the desperation is contagious. Endless non-performance related redundancies.

Pros

Being let go was a blessing.

Cons

As previous reviews have mentioned, cliquey, unprofessional environment, lack of diversity, and what’s sold as a friendly laid-back org is actually a boys club with no respect for the very talented recruiters they’ve managed to headhunt to join them. An unsustainable model where some real Business Development is required. Continuous mention of opening offices in NY and Amsterdam, whilst at the same time making redundancies in the U.K because they can’t win or hold on to clients.

Pros

Initially, we had fantastic people. However those were all systematically 'let go' when the leadership team decided they'd squeezed all the clients money for them and didn't want to pay them anymore.

Cons

At first it was fantastic, but the cracks quickly start to appear when people disappeared without rhyme or reason. The complete incompetence in decision making and business development was blinding. No communication around company strategy with employees, 2 people on my team were let go without me even being informed and the decisions to hire and fire certain people when they'd finished on a client without warning was some of the least empathetic dismissals I've ever seen. We were consistently told the business was looking up followed by a massive cull of great people, some of which had children, mortgages and cars to fund in the middle of a cost of living crisis. Several times, earned bonuses were revoked without reason. I was personally dismissed with a weeks notice after having the highest performance of my team. 2 weeks before a redundancy payment would've had to have been paid out. Having placed 16 candidates against a target of 9, my bonus was revoked and shown the door via email with no negotiation on recieving my earned money. CEO went on holiday during my being 'let go' with no communication to say sorry, well done or thank you for everything, just slack disabled and an email from an FD i'd met once in my life. I've never witnessed such lifeless leadership in my life.
