Pros

Loved the people, most empathetic management ever, but company needs to evolve its business model. The licensing industry has changed so drastically that revenue is extremely hard to come by. Beautiful workspace in SoHo.

Cons

Tons of turnover with zero warning. It’s like each new hire is expected to accomplish miracles, but the market is what it is.

Pros

the content is impressive, and they do house the archive of the top photographers in the industry.

Cons

My experience working at Trunk was unfortunately defined by a consistently toxic work environment driven by poor leadership, lack of accountability, and an unsupportive culture. The problems begin at the top—management often leads through fear and micromanagement rather than trust and collaboration. Feedback is not welcomed unless it flatters leadership, and constructive criticism is routinely dismissed or punished. This creates a culture of silence where employees are afraid to speak up or advocate for necessary change. Favoritism runs rampant leaning towards the Euro Team, with promotions and opportunities often based on personal relationships rather than merit or performance. Meanwhile, hard-working employees are overlooked and undervalued, leading to low morale and high turnover. Overall, while the job itself may appear attractive on paper, the internal environment is unsustainable and emotionally draining. I would caution anyone considering employment here to thoroughly research and, if possible, speak with former employees before making a decision.

Pros

None, it’s so toxic. I can’t believe it still is happening.

Cons

Horrible they are ambulance chasers against people that have no idea the images are copywrited. They use threats and coercion to extort people through a well known scam lawyer Higbee and Associates
