It's a mom and pop business, not an IT company
Pros
Colleagues are friendly. Management is not(Even if they may seem so initially).
Cons
1) The management are spineless when it comes to taking decisions. 2) The senior-most people in the company are college friends of the owners. It doesn't matter if most of them are terrible at their job, or even barely do it. 3) The management are cheapskates who want results without spending money on resources. This is why the company has barely grown in nearly 20 years. 4) The management imposes their dietary preferences on all employees. If you order non-vegetarian food for lunch, you will not be allowed to eat it inside the office premises and will be forced to eat it outside on the stairs. 5) HR exists only to conduct some inane games/competitions once a month or so. Anything and everything you ask the HR, will be deferred to the owners. 6) Zero vision and creativity. All they can do is copy other's ideas. All the company's businesses have been copied from Directi and all business decisions are taken based on which company's idea/strategy they can ape. Even this is not done efficiently. And if employees offer their ideas, they are turned down. 7) The management has unrealistic expectations from employees considering what they have been able to achieve in the past 17-18 years. 8) They entice people to join promising a higher salary and designation after a period of 6 months, but they deny saying it later. In fact, they go to any extent in order to avoid a confrontation. 9) The management have no confidence in their own company. This is evident to such an extent that they bought sedans to run a side-business signing up for Uber, using their company's credentials. 10) Any decision can and will be reversed in the coming month, if not week. This puts off employees who work based on the decision taken earlier and in turn, affects the morale. 11) There has been a mass attrition of over 40% in the current year. 12) Don't believe the "good" reviews. They are all lies posted by the management.
