Pros

They don't really care what you do. It doesn't matter if you work is good or bad, they just want you to go to work so you can charge hours and they can make money. No micromanaging. Very chill about PTO, bereavement, flexible work hours etc. If you bring them another offer and say you are leaving, they will likely pay you whatever to keep you on because the contract makes a lot of money off of you. Typical government work. You may not learn much, or grow in your career, but you won't be overworked either.

Cons

If you are looking for a specific culture of people that are good at their job, you probably won't find it here. Like I said, they hire anyone who can charge hours, so you may work with morons or with really smart people. The issue with this is that the company could lose the contract at any time, because the work being performed isn't always great. No company parties, happy hours or incentives. The benefits aren't great, but probably standard. The only reason I would leave would be to learn more Machine Learning or a much higher salary.

Pros

They are pretty hands-off and let you do the work without much interference. Also pretty chill about PTO, as long as you log the hours correctly. I have not interacted much with corporate otherwise. Your experience will really depend on which site you're placed at.

Cons

Standard gov contracting company. Nothing too bad about it.
