Worked at Bluenotes for a couple years and only recieved one pay raise of $1 due to the fact minimum wage was increased. You are given yearly reviews but no raises, even if you 'exceeded expectations'. You are expected to work long hours (sometimes up to 12 hours a day if there was a "corporate walkthrough" for the following day). As stated in the 'Pros' section - easy to get promoted because of the high turnover in the company and low wages. Head office is really unorganized and expects store level employees to work like dogs to get their un-realistic expectations completed for the day.

Like any retail job you have to work holidays and weekends but as a store manager you get certain perks around the holidays and usually get Christmas Eve and New year's Eve off.
