Pros

Although I am no longer working with Upflex, I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 years I spent working on the Marketing team. I worked under some incredible talent and was able to learn and grow in a fast-paced start-up environment. The leadership at Upflex was exceptional and although we were a remote-first team, there were always opportunities to get involved and feel part of a strong team. Thank you Christophe, Ginger, and Alex for a great 2-years. I wish you nothing but the best!

Cons

For me personally, I was a UK based employee of a US based company. I would have loved to have more opportunities presented to me for in-person team meets. Understandably, this is not always easy.

Pros

Upflex is a really cool product. I just Don’t see how the company survives.

Cons

CEO: Dishonest. Incompetent. No connectivity to customers or the market. The company cannot possibly survive with this CEO.

Regarding your observations about leadership, we take all feedback about our leadership and company culture very seriously. These past several months have been very challenging for us, as they have been for many companies across the US. The current economic climate has forced us to make difficult decisions, which we understand may be hard to accept or even consider. While we can't comment on specific allegations or individual perceptions, we believe there may have been some misunderstandings regarding the leadership team's actions and intentions. In complex business environments, especially during turbulent times, decisions and strategies can sometimes be misconstrued, leading to unintended interpretations. Our ultimate goal has been to navigate these challenging times while preserving as many jobs as possible. The changes we've implemented, while difficult, have allowed us to save dozens of positions within the company. We recognize that this may not ease the pain of those who have been negatively impacted and lost their jobs in the process, and for that, we are truly sorry. The good news is the company is thriving again and growing faster than ever, and we do know we made the right decisions at the end. We recognize that perceptions, even if based on misunderstandings, can significantly impact the work experience. Your feedback has prompted us to reflect on our practices and consider how we can enhance transparency and communication at all levels of the company. We appreciate your candor in sharing your experience. While we may not agree on all points, we respect your perspective and thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.
