Pros

NOTHING TO SAY! - I have ever worked here and thanks for that, learned a lot from teammates. - Office is nice

Cons

CHANGE YOUR COUTRY MANAGER MAKES YOU BETTER. He now very rude to the employees, He thinks he is manager not a member of the office. Poor him!!!! Team work between teams not so good. Product is using old technology. The source code hard to maintenance. Colleague not much friendly and talk bad about each other.

Pros

- Had some good ideas and innovations in the past. - Former colleagues were nice.

Cons

- Now most ideas are just about trying to "copy" existing successful models. - In the past, there are some deep-tech expertising employees who not only love technologies, know them very well but are also very humble. Now almost all of them left (soon none will remain), replaced by new people who all talk, brag, and show off to impress higher-ups. Also they don't really understand the underlying technologies that the company really needs. Instead they just follow "cool" trend currently in the industry and think that it could be applied to the products, also as a way to impress managers. - Worse, those talkers when talking about the "cool" trending technologies, they actually only see a very superficial surface and really don't understand that it is not suitable for the current product lines. Or not knowing that if they were ever applied, the benefits would be dominated by the downsides. - I actually have doubts in the future of the company.

Pros

Technology of core product is sound and arguably the best in the market. COO is brilliant technically, CTO is also very hands on, knows the product very well, and manages people very well. Office is new and spacious.

Cons

Since May 2017 after the company moved office, the company culture changed drastically for the worse. What was previously a vibrant company with employees collaborating with each other was turned upside down to one where everyone is covering their own backs for fear of being fired. I wish I was kidding, but people got fired for not coming back on weekends, and for going to the washroom for too long/too many times. Top management micromanaged (or at least tried to) and regimentalized the office so that everyone's actions were tracked. Latecomers were sent emails requesting for reasons, and a report was later put out by HR basically acknowledging the reasons, but demanding staff make their own arrangements to come to the office on time anyway. There's very little flexibility, and very little staff welfare - not even a microwave oven in the pantry, you can't eat anything that emits a smell, you can't eat on the nice seats that are strictly meant for guests, there have been no staff welfare events, claims are scrutinized and sometimes denied for minute discrepencies. Employees were asked to give detailed workplans for the next 3-6 months, which cannot be extended, but top management is more than happy to overstep his boundary and reduce a previously agreed upon 1-man month delivery to a 3 day one over a long weekend. Top management also behaves unprofessionally with staff behind closed doors, acting in a condescending way and putting staff down in technical areas that he does not fully understand. All these are reasons why those who have not been fired have either left or are thinking of leaving. It is a pity because the company had so much promise before all this happened. Sadly, this was solely due to the actions of the top management while the rest of the management sat by and couldn't/didn't do anything to stop it until it was too late.
