Pros

Some of the smartest people I have ever worked with. You will learn a lot and you will learn it quickly.

Cons

The CEO constantly brings in projects with impossible timelines and then micro-manages resources around which impacts every other project around it. Something along the lines of "the project would take a team of 10 the better part of a year" is countered with "you can have 3 juniors 2 of which I'll constantly pull away, oh and it's due in 3 months". He also constantly ignores advice from senior staff from every department.

Pros

A lot of bright, intelligent, and great to work with coworkers.

Cons

One of the company's managing partners is a classic narcissist with an over inflated ego and a complete lack of ability to manage people. If you are looking for a place to be treated like a punching bag, this is the place for you, otherwise avoid like the plague.

Pros

Great learning experience as there is an endless amount of work to do as the work is non-stop. Fellow co-workers are incredibly bright, talented, and intelligent. The best of the best in Halifax. You get to work on some amazing projects and clients which are unmatched anywhere else in the city. I would recommend this workplace to a friend, but only if they were very junior and needed experience, otherwise there are better agencies out there.

Cons

You are expected to work 40+ hours a week minimum. When I was there I had to meet impossible deadlines and was forced to work evenings, weekends, scheduled vacations, and holidays to meet them, otherwise the work would not get done. There was a bad morale in the office, as during my last year there my co-workers were constantly looking for a new job. People got burnt out quickly as the result of their heavy workloads and being micro-managed. There was a below average compensation to the point where if my fellow co-workers worked beyond their 37.5 contracted hours, they were working below minimum wage. There are some unexplained differences in salaries for equal positions, as well as some gender pay gap issues.
