I have been working at VSG Vision Security Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Management Team are always available and always help regardless of how small or big the problem is, and you never feel like you are bothering them. Benefits at work can get you anything from cheap cinema tickets to cheaper holidays. Work hard and want promotion then you need to get yourself noticed and the management team will put you on development path, if you just want to work hard and earn your wages then fine, nobody is pushing you to do what you don't want to do.

    Cons

Some of the contracts are on minimum wage although I appreciate that the company cannot really help that as they are led by their client's.

    Advice to Management

    keep being contactable.

I worked at VSG Vision Security Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a chance to progress, however it’s not offen it happens. Some nice officers.

    Cons

Culture of bullying, and telling people what they want to hear so the job gets done. Low pay and wrong Priorities.

    Advice to Management

Start looking after the staff, train and promote the ones you have. I left after I felt being pushed out over what I see going on and no one cared I was a manager for VSG and took my knowledge with me, which I know for sure you will struggle to find again anytime soon. Such a shame as I loved VSG. In the end it felt like a sour marriage. You really need to value your staff.
