Awful company to work for

Pros

A good social experience outside of work, but that's about it

Cons

I worked for Vacansoleil this summer and all I can say is that they are an awful, fraudulent company. Avoid them at all costs! They do not care about their customers, nor their workers. I was forced to do illegal overtime (almost double the hours stated in my contract), and then they refused to pay me for all of my extra hours. On top of this, they told me to lie about my hours (reducing them for their system), which I said I wouldn't do. They then blackmailed me and said if I didn't do it then they wouldn't reimburse me for my holiday time not taken. Vacansoleil is getting a very bad rep amongst the season workers community.

Great Place to Work!

Pros

Flexible working day, get to live abroad, lots of sunshine, relaxed working environment, great colleagues

Cons

You live with your colleagues = together 24/7! I got on with my work colleagues to it was fine, but it can be a bit intense at times, especially as campsites are often quite rurally located and it can be difficult to get away
