Pros

shift pattern of 4 on 4 off with 18 day break every 8 weeks gives you plenty of time off so work life balance is good

Cons

12 hr shifts can be long if you are not used to them,like many older chem plants the work can be hard, a lot of manual handling.

Where to start. Terrible management, toxic work culture, unsafe work practices. Site infrastructure is old meaning that the risk of LOPC is high. Hardly any SOP exist, training is non existent

Great pay and time off due to current shift pattern. A lot of money spent on new plant and equipment for the future

Cons

Management terrible. Poorly maintained plant. Dangerous attitude towards safety (Profit takes priority). Looking to change current shift pattern unnecessarily. Limited progression.
