Pros

Brands are eager to buy Global each and Local offices make it a unique proposition Close to culture (but do not contribute to culture) Work with talent (even if only unmeaningful way) Nice office Autonomy Opened up doors for me in the future The UK ceo / MD is a decent person

Cons

Bullying, intimidation and sexism is engrained into everyday life at vice Hard to offer brands true value within campaigns cause it’s not ‘cool’ to do overt advertising (which is rubbish) Zero diversity - mostly old white men making decisions Psycho editors Cowboy HR - no real support Low pay (apart from if in the boys club) which makes it impossible to manage Homogenised creativity Negative ‘ironic’ perspective gets old v quickly Unimaginative content No direction Too much drinking and drugs - part of day to day Don’t understand truly where millennial’s heads are at which is the biggest irony

Pros

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with great people and talents, office is in a wonderful location, and some editorial freedom.

Cons

No one has a goddamn clue what they're doing. They just throw you in the mix with little to no training, and if you want something, you have to practically beg for it. We would sit around for hours on Slack waiting for meetings that would never come into fruition. I was working "permalance" with the promise of a full-time position, and HR didn't even know I'd been hired. I was then fired after my short contract terminated because they were too cheap to hire me full-time, even though we had just been negotiating my salary. This is just a poorly operated company that rides on its name being "cool."

Pros

none, unless you like being offered free cocaine.

Cons

You will walk in here clean and leave filthy. This company was like a high school complete with "popular kids" and bullies
