Pros

The staff discount was good.

Cons

Uniform that WE had to pay for were chosen by our manager so even if you didn't like or feel comfortable in a outfit it didn't matter to them. Had to wear heels throughout our shift, a colleague of mine fell down a flight of stairs because of this. We had to dress as if we were going on a night out which was ridiculous. A girl was told that she had to wear make up because she didn't look good without it. Even though I was working full time (37.5 hours) I ended up frequently doing extra hours by them guilt tripping me to staying longer, I never ever got paid for it! Throughout my 6 months there many people up and left without even handing a notice because they were so fed up. Had a few people crying because our fashion manger was being horrible to them. Worst place I have ever worked in, made me depressed!

Pros

4 hour shifts available around school/college house (4-8pm for e.g.). 40% discount on Warehouse clothes/accessories 33% off at brands in the group: Karen Millen, Oasis, Coast (now liquidated) A fine part-time, first-job

Cons

No performance incentives (targeted on opening up store credit cards) The launch of sale can be hugely labour intensive and shelves/equipment supplied is very heavy for a predomanently female workforce (100% of the Cardiff team were women) Area managers extremerly frosty and create a strong vibe of superiority over staff in other positions. No progression
