Estimates from employees are just eye wash. Already time is committed to the client and as a formality estimate is taken from employees. If not completed then the management blames the team members by saying "you have provided the timeline". Management reduce the time by saying this feature is done is another project and can be copied from it. Sometimes estimate is provided by some other team member and the person who end up assigned to the project should follow that estimate.
Those who inform whereabouts about others to the management and acts like they are working/managing others can expect designation raise compared to those who work hard. Certain QA employees doesnt even understand the product which they are assigned to and act as though the product is launched because of them. HR is dedicated to other things other than the job. Even the basics like payslips, appointment letter etc are not sent on time. HR always act busy and mostly spends time with QA. This dedication resulted in taking up QA role along with HR role so that even more time can be spent with QA.
Founder tries motivating by telling changes are coming to the company but those changes will either not be implemented or die in short time.
Either founder is turning a blind eye to what is happening or given wrong information.
If there is fault with device provided by the company then the replacement will take days and till replacement work should not be affected. Appraisal will take months and those who are favored by the management will get high raise and others are humiliated. Many times internet gets disconnected and the employees are expected to use mobile hotspot to meet the tight deadlines.
Wherever there is a conversation going on CTO jumps in and give unrelated views which makes the entire conversation waste of time.
Many good and knowledged employees leave the company due to such politics behaviour by upper management. Those who quit the company have to constantly remind HR about the settlement. It takes many months for the settlement. Either the company doesn't have required funds or else they are wantedly treating ex employees in this manner.
