Pros

I do not see any pros in this company.

Cons

if you are professional looking to grow in your career or want to apply what you learn at the university, forget about, there are a lot young graduates sitting all day long earning a check by doing and learning nothing. Basically they do not want to improve the legacy applications they have. Most people is afraid of suggesting ideas, you will fit if you laugh at your boss's jokes. A lot of micro managing. If you are unemployed you can work here and see for yourself, but to grow in your career don't even think about it. They name "supervisors" just because they have many years working there but these people don't understand the basics of what they supervise. Constant hiring and firing. Recently the office was remodeled , they replaced 18 comfortable cubicles to put 26 smaller in the same area. People complaining about not having space to put their files and stuff. Now they are ordering more cabinets. In a desk sized 50" x 18" they put arms for two monitors making you work area even smaller. They are hiring more people in all areas, but they don't expand the parking lot nor the already small break room, be prepared to make a waiting line in the bathroom or to get a cup of coffee. The location is terrible, drive around and you will see a lot of cabarets and surrounded by a depressed neighborhood.

Pros

Good place to start a career in insurance adjusting, and learn a lot. They get you your license, and they train you. Small company, so you get to know every one. I've heard horror stories of severe micromanagement at large insurance companies, so the environment here is not going to be near as high pressure as what you will get at the big dogs. The traffic around the area is not bad. Most insurance carriers are around Dallas, where the traffic is horrendous. You are required to work long hours during major storms, but you get paid for the extra hours. They pay for your health insurance, which you probably won't find at large carriers, where you may pay $240 or so per month out of your check for health insurance. They hire people out of college and people just becoming professionals, so some reviews on here are complaints from people who have never worked in a professional environment like an office setting. I recall people getting spoken to by management because they were constantly on their personal phone or always chatting instead of working, or they were never on time. You are being paid to work, so they kind of expect that.

Cons

No company is perfect. Starting pay may not be as high as places like StateFarm or Allstate, but those places will work you for that money, so there will be more pressure to perform, and you'll be in lots of traffic every day.
