      Good comp for industry standard, terrible COO

      Great people to work with, fun and fast paced environment, great compensation when compared to other staffing agencies, great personalized approach at staffing

      Cons

      The COO means well but is a terrible communicator and makes everyone want to quit

      I am deeply affected by any employee of Whitridge feeling like it would be necessary to go to a source such as Glassdoor to communicate their disenchantment with my leadership rather than approach me directly. It indicates I have work to do in communicating with my team and will endeavor to do just that. If the writer becomes comfortable enough to approach me directly I would appreciate the opportunity to talk through their feelings and opinion.. John Hennessy, COO

      Staffing Specialist

      Pros

      none actually all other agencies in the industry provide more perks than here Base Pay $35,000 a year, 2 weeks vacation and an extra one after 5 years they get you a standard cheap cake for your anniversary at the agency you receive an expensive health plan after three months of employment

      Cons

      You can actually work from home but the manager and COO would give you a hard time, COO does nothing all day but congratulate recruiters by replying to the placement confirmation email and falls asleep in meetings, expect to hear the term "Personal Touch" a lot from the COO must be to compensate for nothing extra that they provide to their consultants, whenever they receive an award they never stop talking about it as if they are the only agency to receive some kind of recognition for their work in the Boston area, no room for growth you will be in the same position because actually it's a very small agency, dead end staffing agency

      ...I really don’t like having anyone upset with us, but untrue statements do need to be addressed. You are entitled to express your opinion after leaving the company for what you believe to be a better opportunity but we both know that management was highly supportive of you working from home, your growth in your role, and into the future. Anyone can check our website to see the many benefits we provide to both internal employees, and field consultants, as well as the awards we celebrate, and when they come from our consultants and clients feedback such as, Best of Staffing, they deserve celebration. It concerns me that you are unhappy, but we have always wished you well. On one other note, relationship building is utilized often here at Whitridge and going the extra mile and caring about the people you work with is that personal touch. Sorry you don’t agree, we’ll just have to work a little harder at it.

      Pros

      Everyone at Whitridge buys into and believes in our quality-driven approach to recruiting/staffing. We all strive to make the search & hiring process a positive and rewarding experience for both sets of clients (hiring managers and candidates). We treat our clients like they should be treated and provide a true value-add to the process. Our Sales & Recruiting team is collaborative and works very well together.

      Cons

      I can think of no real cons to working at Whitridge. We have a great team with a family-like environment.
