Pros

Plenty to learn and good people to work with on site

Cons

Low pay and minimal benefits. No flexiblity with start/finish times or roster. Sick days and annual leave days heavily scrutinised. Punished for taking sick leave but forced to take annual leave when it suits them. Upper management (Townsville and Brisbane) are incredibly hard to deal with and care very little for site based employees, Can't believe a word they say when being "transparent with information". They act like they will take your feedback onboard then completely disregard it.

Pros

1. Provision of daily lunch for all employees to support workplace productivity. 2. Comprehensive medical coverage (health allowance) to ensure professional medical support. 3. A structured scheme including transportation, meal allowances, and attendance incentives as a form of appreciation for professional discipline. 4. Scholarship programs for the children of employees who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements. All aforementioned benefits will be implemented in accordance with internal policies and the Company’s financial capacity

Cons

1. The gross salary is competitive, the net take-home pay aligns with the government’s minimum wage standards after mandatory tax deductions and other statutory contributions. 2. Current organizational structures present significant challenges for vertical mobility or pursuing a specific desired career path within this role. 3. The role demands high operational output, compounded by rigorous monthly audit cycles that require meticulous attention and substantial time investment. 4. The operational environment is characterized by complex and dynamic systems, necessitating a high degree of agility and continuous adaptation. 5. There is a notable disparity between limited manpower resources and the high-performance standards required by the organization.
