Pros

If you like toxic work environments, this is the perfect place for you. You'll be overworked, underpaid and underappreciated. I wouldn't wish working here on my worst enemy. Save yourself time & stress. Don't fall for the trap.

Cons

Leadership and turnover has highly increased over the past year. All previous 5 Star Reviews are from former employees that made this place tolerable and protected employees from constant verbal abuse from the owner. Multiple complaints have been made regarding this, yet not change. Don't subject yourself to work for a company that doesn't care about it's employees. Waste of time. Side note: Ryan Spalding isn't the CEO, info on their page isn't correct. Just a preview on how organized they are. I won't be surprised if they try to remove all my reviews.

Don’t Work Here

Pros

A decent place to work temporarily while looking for something better.

Cons

This company gives off a laid-back, fun image, but that quickly fades once you’re on the inside. If you’re a woman, expect to be treated differently than your male colleagues. HR is ineffective—they fail to document issues, overlook serious complaints, and seem more focused on keeping certain leaders happy than supporting employees. Leadership lacks transparency and seems to operate based on personal bias rather than merit. One owner (Bo Kohn) in particular controls the environment, withholding training and professional growth from those who aren’t part of their inner circle. New hires (often recent grads) end up doing most of the work, while upper management contributes little and resists new ideas. You could be excellent at your job and still be let go without warning if you don’t fit their unclear cultural expectations. The focus is more on personal preference than performance. The workplace feels performative—fun on the surface, but with underlying issues like inappropriate jokes, unprofessional behavior, and favoritism that go unchecked.

Pros

There are none. The pro for anyone applying is to use their offer to improve a different offer. This is not a company that cares for anything but what the founder (Bo Kohn) office looks like and the multiple expensive gifts they send their clients with same religious views all along not even giving employees, many of whom work long dedicated hours, ANY bonus. This agency will take advantage of you and treat you nicely to your face but stab you in the back without remorse or reason. They hire and promote their own. Look at how long employees last. After the new CEO (David Kaplan) and Lakewood office took over the entire operation changed. Beware.

Cons

Everything. Discrimination. Favoritism. Hostile work environment. Chauvinism. Questionable brokerage practices. No training. Zero direction for young professionals. A constant environment of walking on egg shells. Bo Kohn rules the agency through intimidation and backhanded unnecessary comments. Shady business dealings. Multiple companies being ran out if the Skokie office. Executive team frequently takes private jets and lavish trips for “conferences”. In office 5 days a week - convenient for Bo and Halima (HR) who live 5 minutes away. Many many EEs left for more realistic and frankly legitimate agencies not stuck in the 90s. DO NOT take a job here. You will regret it and take steps backwards in your career.
