Pros

- Salary was very competitive at time of joining but this may have changed now with the current tech industry trends - Full work from home meant good work/ life balance - International team with a wealth of breadth and experience with most people at lateral levels willing to pitch in and help out. Senior management underneath c-levels want the best and try to advocate where they can

Cons

- Executive level management seem completely distant/ unengaged with what the company does and what the product is i.e. a platform for grocery retailers - Positions in company hierarchy seem to be quite rigid with no real opportunity for internal advancement. This makes Wynshop a good place to hone your current level before moving on. Not a place to stay - Full work from home can be a bit isolating at times, no real connection to colleagues. This makes tough conversations even harder due to a keyboard warrior effect - Siloed teams leads to a lot of Us v. Them mentality which makes tough conversations even harder. Seems to come from the top on a fundamental disagreement on strategy. Goal posts are always changing

A company struggling with lack of vision and no leadership

Pros

Great people (peers), remote, exciting product

Cons

Lack of leadership with no vision set out. There have been 4 re-orgs and re-structures in the last 18 months. Nothing is given time to succeed. Execs change processes without consultation to those below them doing the day to day. Zero career progression or salary increases. Benefits are not great. Pension contributions from company is abysmal. Execs too afraid to say "no" to clients when necessary. They say "yes" to everything and end up frustrating clients later on when it is not achieved. Company comms are also woeful, finding out changes after the fact, and finding out people have left the company after they've gone.

Pros

Work from home instead of office

Cons

No pay raise...not just for me..for all the employees No promotion New processes/rules every other new moon Senior management has no clue whats going on in the team No appreciation for your work/additional contributions...but make a ruckus and make feel you are pathetic if you miss the deadline It used to be implement and try new POCs and tech stuff..but not anymore Senior management shoots up the ladder at every chance...but the rest all stay in the same position with the same pay despite announcing the pay raise which is already 2+ years now
