Pros

The day I handed my notice in, leaving the company and I genuinely mean it. Plenty other jobs available at decent companies.

Cons

Wow where to start, the reviews about how great it is are fake as it is the worst place you can think off. The directors are all false and don’t like each other, they play their departments of one another and you get treated like dirt. Don’t get to familiar with the person next to you as the chances are they will not be there in a month. Timing is like being in a prison, you better not be late back for lunch or late into the office in the morning and don’t even think of leaving when you are meant to. Staff turn over is shocking as you are timed on faults you fix and not how how good a job you do. People get promoted for how friendly they are with the MD as some should not be in management at all. Most of the good staff have left and those who are left won’t be there much longer. Any ability you feel you have to do your job will be sucked out of you in here and they will remove any confidence you might have.

Terrible

Pros

Technical exposure is good and you will be expected to get stuck in to some interesting and complex support cases.

Cons

The positive reviews are fake reviews, probably written by the people who make it a terrible place to work. Employees are miserable and morale is low, employees are unable to communicate, interact and collaborate freely, especially between departments. There is a constant bad atmosphere and feelings of fear, finger pointing, persecution and reprisals when you step on the wrong toes (and there are reprisals). Staff turnover is quite high and a notice period is firm at 3 months. Generally management seem to take personal offence at employees leaving and don’t even show up to say good luck or cheerio on an employee’s last day. Frontline staff go the extra mile on a regular basis for the customers which shows their dedication and professionalism, this goes completely unnoticed and unrecognised. Engineers are expected to complete professional accreditations yet they are not sent on training courses when requested. Generally speaking there are some good employees within this company who are very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately there are times that they are pressurised into not being as helpful as they could be, which is completely wrong. New employees appear to be ‘sheltered’ away from long standing employees in an effort to ensure they don’t figure out what is actually going on internally. This utopia only tends to last so long as the mask will always slip and certain individuals will let their true charter show eventually. Directors are the root cause of many the issues within the company through poor leadership, lack of flexibility, lack of consistency, lack of regard for staff contentment and arrogance . There is a slimy, grudge holding and vindictive undercurrent from the top down. It would appear that the directors aren’t entirely comfortable with one another either. It’s true that the company has come a long way since the early days, however this isn’t always a good thing. Directors appear to have completely forgotten what one of the core values of the company is integrity, from witnessing how some individuals conduct themselves in recent years there is no integrity anymore. The emphasis is on profit and that’s about it, there are always nice flashy new cars rolling into the car park. Perks now offered by the company have been an attempt to make it a more attractive place to work but in reality the same perks have been offered by many other companies for years. Salary tends to differ from one individual to another but Level 1 Service Desk Engineers tend to be underpaid for the work they are actually doing. They are under far too much pressure. Holiday entitlement is minimum as required by law. Shift rotation is in operation and Engineers are expected to find cover for their shifts when they need time off. The company may have travelled too far in the wrong direction to actually recover from the issues that are now present.

One of the best things I ever

Pros

Not actually one of the best but THE best thing I ever did was LEAVE xperience. My only regret was leaving a great bunch of people.

Cons

If Xprience was a prison ( and Prisons probably treated it inmates with more respect) it It is really difficult to describe how absolutley awful it is to work here, staff ae all good people it just the Directors that need some kind of special training in how to treat themselves less and their staff more. I have read all the other reviews and they are all spot on. So I do not feel I need to say it all again.
