Pros

- Ambitious but rewarding company mission having a direct positive on underprivileged students across the UK. We get to experience our impact on a day-to-day basis through student success stories, events and general feedback. - Our users (students). Given the nature of our work, everyone across the company comes into regular contact with our user base and I'm consistently floored by their motivation and love of Zero Gravity. It's really motivating and a constant heartwarming reminder of our impact! - Genuinely healthy company culture where everyone is encouraged to speak up and share feedback regularly. I have been at a few start-ups where the values haven't been clear, or there is a lot of wording with no tangible action as a result. Not here! I find Zero Gravity values easy to understand and implement into my day to day. On top of this, everyone across the company is motivated by the mission and are always up for a chat over either coffee or a beer. - Exciting company networking events and projects such as our Stakeholder event, Intership & Scholarship programme and upcoming on-campus events! - Spacious, bright, plant (and snack)-filled London office right next to St Paul's Cathedral. The top-notch aircon in the summer was a lifesaver! - Flexible working scheme. We follow a hybrid system which I'm really enjoying so far. - One of the most generous bonus schemes I have been a part of alongside some great share options that are easy to understand (no start-up jargon nonsense) - £500 L&D budget to spend on your future development - Medical cover - Inclusive bi-weekly socials with some personal faves being Dishoom, golf and Top Secret Comedy Club!

Cons

Not necessarily a con but we work in a typical early-stage start-up environment where things can change quickly. You need to be flexible and open-minded when it comes to collaborating on projects with tight deadlines. While I find this exciting, it isn't necessarily for everyone!

Pros

Everyone is lovely Great mission, culture and values Encouraged development and learning Great work/life balance Regular socials Transparency from leadership about the direction of the company and big decisions Every day I feel encouraged to do good work and feel like I'm making a contribution to a really valuable mission

Cons

Nothing really! If I really had to think of one, it's just that working in a start up can sometimes feel less secure/more unpredictable than being in a bigger, more established company.

Pros

Zero Gravity really is the definition of a mission-focussed organisation, with every colleague and business decision being focussed purely on levelling the playing field for opportunity in the UK. The culture is great too, with amazing mission-aligned colleagues and a great atmosphere of trust.

Cons

As it is a small tech start-up, it's a company for someone keen to be self-driven and a self-starter. There's plenty of help and training available for you, but in a less structured way than at larger companies.
