Pros

Great colleagues and remote working possible.

Cons

Micromanagement checking your emails, calls etc. You are insignificant here; for the leadership, it is all transactional. Customers are only valued for how much money they can give. You are not allowed to take any leave during the last two weeks of every month. For example, you are not allowed leave in December. You work overtime and have no work-life balance; you hardly get to eat or manage a bathroom break. The company structure could be more organised and neat, especially since they are a listed company. SDRs inbound & outbound, AMs for different groups, and solutions overlays, even one is fighting for the peace of the comms and targets. No proper communication. All different internal systems are not automated and don't talk to each other, so you have to have countless tabs. Yet they mainly work off of g-doc sheets and require you to fill in details manually, which continually is re-repeated on countless other sheets. When leadership asks you for feedback on the areas of struggle, and you give them feedback, they then use it against you and blame you. They are not trustworthy and have no dignity here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. As part of our new international team, your input is very important. While it’s great to hear you got along with your colleagues, I’m concerned by your description of mismanagement and poor organization. Over the past year, we have scaled extremely quickly, especially in our international segment, and missed out on some opportunities to optimize our team structures and processes. To that end, we have reorganized some of our Sales teams to help align the SDRs, AEs, and AMs more effectively. This should help with communication and process flow across the board. I want to see all of my Account Executives and Account Managers grow and thrive, I’m sorry to hear that you did not feel supported at ZoomInfo. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and I wish you the best of luck in your next career move. Ray Mariano, ZoomInfo Senior Vice President of International Sales

Pros

- Good people within the account executive teams. - Above average basic salaries for an AE role. - Remote work.

Cons

Unfortunately I left my role at my previous company to join Zoominfo as I was lured in by the generous basic salary. The guy who hired me was fantastic, he was US based but worked UK hours but was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to bring me up to speed. He was eventually moved back to the US with a deserved promotion and this is where the experience went drastically down hill and has not improved for the last 4 or so months. The guy who is supposed to be the "VP of international" is far from an effective leader. He operates through fear and brings no value to the team or EMEA org. He visited the office and spent 95% of the time shouting at everyone, rather than offering value, jumping on calls, lending a hand on key deals. It truly is a toxic environment with him at the helm. Everyone at Zoominfo wants to succeed, he seems to think that no one wants to achieve, micro manages, sends emails out of hours that do nothing but invoke anxiety across the team. Across the board I know peers who are actively searching for new roles and other members of the team are signed off with stress. I would urge anyone who is potentially looking for a role at Zoominfo to re-consider. Whilst the basic is slightly higher than what you might expect elsewhere it is not worth this toxic environment. The commission structure is also poor, your OTE is not realistic as you only get paid when the customer pays you as an AE are expected to chase customers paying just to get to paid on the deals you sell. The leadership team need to realise that the product is also nowhere near where it needs to be for EMEA. The data is sub par and the price point is aligned with the US pricing scheme. This makes it particularly difficult with current market conditions. It feels very reactionary with the current leadership team in place, with very little thought to the mid-long term future of the EMEA org.

Pros

Working here will look good on your resume. Unlimited PTO for certain departments.

Cons

Listen to the "negative" reviews here folks. Do not trust management. It's a white man bro culture where managers and executives will hire their buddies (even though they are a terrible fit with no experience) and not listen when there are legitmate complaints filed against them. Also, you should be concerned about being laid-off. Employees were promised that there will be no lay-offs and then a couple of months later...hundreds of employees were laid off. Oh yeah, but don't mention it though because they will hold your pathetic two-week severance and then sue you. You work like a dog, you will be lied to, not taken seriously, disrespected, and then out of a job. Save your time. Work somewhere else where employees are actually respected and treated like humans.
