Pros

My immediate team of colleagues were as supportive as possible. In reality, this was needed as we were "in the trenches" together, working as hard as possible to keep up with projects set with ridiculous timelines by the sales team, and trying to coordinate with other departmental colleagues who couldn't have cared less.

Cons

Leadership - Toxic, toxic, toxic. A total "boy's club". Misogynistic, over-caffeinated man-children. The CEO constantly turns a blind eye to other executives' and leaderships' wrongdoings, and gives zero care to how everyone else in the company is treated. One of the other executives and founding partners is by far the WORST manager/boss I have ever had. He throws multiple, screaming tantrums on a daily basis that echo throughout the office. Throws his garbage can at the wall when he's in rage-mode. Swears at employees. Spends zero time actually training or teaching anyone, but then acts incredulous if you ask how something is done, or for help. Would consistently take credit for my work, and give kudos to his "buddies" or family members who helped on the project, but never acknowledged my accomplishments. I was consistently put down, expected to work overtime with zero additional compensation, and be at his beck and call. He should have been let go from this company years ago. He's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Collaboration - There is none. Between the sales department setting impossible deadlines to make a buck and look good to the clients, and other departments leaving whenever they felt like they were "done" for the day, it was a near impossible job Pay - The pay here was ridiculously low - $30k/year. I've never been so stressed financially. I was constantly working overtime, using my own vehicle and gas to deliver projects to client (which I was NEVER reimbursed for), having an executive founding partner also demand that I pick him up from the airport whenever he didn't feel like arranging his own transportation (also, never compensated for this or even received a thank you or acknowledgement), and was never given raises or bonuses even though they were promised. Emotional distress - The executive founding partner's constant tantrums and outbursts were a daily occurrence. He was NEVER reprimanded or told to stop his behavior, ever. He personally created such a toxic, disgusting work environment that I found myself breaking out in stress-induced hives and having panic attacks. I had never to that point ever cried at work. This became a daily occurrence as well. Other departments didn't seem to care what the deadlines were, and it came down on me for their failings. I was always staying late and not taking breaks in order to try to meet asinine deadlines. If the graphic design lead or printer or install lead wanted to leave, they left. But somehow it was my fault that the project was now behind schedule. Zero accountability from other departments, with the project managers being used as punching bags.

Pros

doing work for cool venues and events

Cons

the executives of this company are awful, as an employee they absolutely do not care about you. CEO (Jared Smith) begged to have employees write positive reviews to counter the negative ones on here (just look at the dates the positive reviews were posted) they say they are a family company but in reality, management cares about their families, not yours. they don’t give out raises, will promise they will, but will hire others instead of paying the current employees what they are worth. there is no such thing as safety, they will always cut corners to save money. people are leaving from here quickly and for a good reason.
