Pros

Believes it has a passion for Education and Teaching & Learning A lot of good, committed people

Cons

Buys companies, strips of all assets, makes all staff redundant and subsequently loses 50% of the customer base it acquired No HR processes and believes it operates above the law, generally treats its people very badly and with little respect If you don’t work in Norway, you will never be listened to and your opinion will count for nothing Completely focussed on the numbers to the detriment of staff morale, customer happiness and retention. It needs to learn, look after the latter and the former will be much easier.

Pros

As a first job out of Uni this place might be fine for you. Otherwise it’s a dead end with a bad international reputation.

Cons

Itslearning loves to buy up smaller companies, strip them for their assets and then toss the staff to the wind. Out of the employees who worked for NetMedia Education, which itslearning brought to turn into itslearning UK, not a single one of them still works for itslearning UK, after more than 6 separate rounds of redundancy’s within a 7-year period of time. They are doing nothing new, fresh or challenging within the industry and work with very old antiquated tech. they have a very fast staff turnover across the world and if you don’t work for itslearning in Norway then your opinion counts for nothing. Working for itslearning is like carrier suicide.

Pros

Everyone at itslearning is passionate about education and really wants to make a difference. The company has a great spirit, strong and well respected management and offers a lot of opportunities to personally grow and develop.

Cons

It can be tricky to get work life balance because everyone is so dedicated to being successful. But this is a personal trait and certainly not an expectation.
