Pros

- Everyone is completely remote and, considering there is no office, this doesn't look set to change any time soon. - Everyone is incredibly open and humble, for lack of a better way to put it. Open discussions regularly involve everyone from the CEO / Head of Engineering all the way down to the developers. Everyone has a voice and can have their say. - Pay is very competitive. - The nature of the work can be challenging, which I'd argue keeps it exciting. - Quarterly meetups mean we get to make those real-life connections and we get to experience some beautiful countries eat great food 👍

Cons

- Honestly, I don't think there are any.

Pros

I joined m3ter almost a year ago, and can hands down say it has been the best job I've ever had. I left a large company to join m3ter, chasing the dream of a startup, and I haven't looked back. The 2 co-founders are really experienced, have a great relationship with each other, think strategically and don't rush into decisions. Despite being small (50 employees), it feels like a much more mature organisation than the size would indicate. Every day I get to work with a team of super smart, fun, and supportive colleagues. I am empowered in my role to do what I need to get the job done, and really am thriving with the autonomy and trust. I see myself here for a long time to come!

Cons

I was sceptical about a remote-first working environment (I love an office), but it's actually been a non issue - we have access to co-working spaces all over which I use every week, and the quarterly m33tups are such a great way to bond and work with the team in person.

Pros

* Startup environment with a very rationalised balance between moving fast and building strong foundations. * They have meet-ups every quarter which are a great way to get some much needed face to face interaction, fun and celebrate achievements. * Regardless of where you sit on the food chain your thoughts and opinions are treated equally with respect and consideration. * The executives are very transparent and regularly update the teams with great insight into where the business is moving. * The engineering work is varied like most startups - the idea of pigeon holing simply does not exist. * Compensation is quite generous for a startup. * Remote first attitude with no gotchas. * Interesting colleagues with good conversation. * The vibe can be described as energetic and exciting.

Cons

* Remote working can be isolating at times. Not for everyone. Quarterly meet-ups and the openness that people show help a lot. * Some friction in Product Management which was inevitable when growing/building fast as a startup although it has now been mostly addressed nicely.
