This fantastic achievement was announced at the Great Place to Work awards ceremony, which was attended by some of our First Central colleagues who were able to celebrate this success in person. In our efforts to be an inclusive workplace and ensure that our offices have the facilities our colleagues need, we're pleased to announce that we have partnered with TOTM and joined their Period Dignity at Work scheme. TOTM are an award-winning period care brand and leading provider of sustainable menstrual products, which we're pleased to say we'll now have available in all of our toilets across all our locations. #DEIB
In each of our locations we form meaningful partnerships with local organisations who make a big difference to people within their sector and communities. We recently spoke to Foundation 92 to hear about the great work that they do for the local community in Salford and beyond to improve the lives of vulnerable families through sport, education and bespoke projects, with an emphasis on promoting positive physical and mental wellbeing. They've got a lot of exciting plans coming up, including their December to Remember campaign which will see them give thousands of Christmas presents out across Greater Manchester to targeted groups and young people. First Central is passionate about encouraging colleague wellbeing, whether physical, mental or financial. That's why we're so proud we have a growing, supportive Mental Health First Aid community our people can rely on. We recently trained a further 15 Mental Health First Aiders to make a grand total of 45, the expansion driven by our ambitious company growth. They're trained to spot the early signs of mental ill health in others and can confidentially signpost colleagues to appropriate support, internal and external.
We could not be more pleased that our car insurance broker, 1st CENTRAL, won Insurance Provider of the Year at last week's #MoneyAgeAwards 🏆 It's the 5th year in a row that we've won this award, which is real testament to the hard work and ambition of all our colleagues. Hosted at The Waldorf Hilton in London, it was a fantastic evening for our colleagues, who were able to attend the ceremony and celebrate the fantastic news together. Wellbeing is at the heart of our colleague experience. In a recent Pulse Survey, we asked our people to feedback on a variety of topics that affect their Wellbeing. Incredibly we scored in the top 25% of the sector for all of them, but it’s only with their continuous feedback that we can build the right programme of support. #Collaboration #Wellbeing
