59 Air Partner employees joined in on our “March into March” challenge last month. We walked, jogged and ran our way to 16,034,777 steps throughout the month and as a thank you, Air Partner has donated £500 to the Charlie Waller Trust who educate young people, and those with responsibility for them about their mental health and wellbeing. A big well done to all that participated.
The Air Partner Group is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of all employees through increasing awareness, reducing the stigma, and encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their own mental health and wellbeing. To deliver against this commitment we have developed a strategy and 12-month action plan which focuses on promoting a culture of positive mental health and wellbeing. To help us implement the strategy successfully, we have set up a working group with volunteers from across the business. The purpose of the group is to act as champions and ambassadors of the Air Partner mental health and wellbeing strategy and today we launched our Healthy Minds Healthy Lives Intranet hub. This offers tools and resources for all employees to help themselves and others lead happy and healthy lives. We Care Deeply.
On International Women’s Day we were delighted to be joined by two inspirational businesswomen Lynda Logan Chief Revenue Officer at Reorg, and Liz Sebag-Montefiore, Co-Founder and Director of 10 Eighty, who both shared their incredible career stories and their top advice for success as well as answering our questions to help us all succeed for the future.
Such and inspirational evening! Thank you Tim Peake.
A look back on a year like no other. From evacuation flights out of Wuhan at the start of the pandemic, transporting vital PPE and Covid-19 related supplies globally, repatriating thousands of nationals back home, and launching new virtual safety classes.
Air Partner are very proud to be giving back this Christmas to those who need it the most.
Thank you to the group of 10 Air Partner employees who undertook the moustache growing and distance challenges for Movember this year. They raised a fabulous £1,876 for the cause, £500 of which was from Air Partner sponsorship (£50 each). Below shows the excellent efforts of Ian Holder, our MD for Safety (Baines Simmons). What an extraordinary team!
26th November 2020 saw Air Partner host their first international, virtual afternoon tea with a bake-off competition to boot! There were some great contributions and our star baker won vouchers of their choice.
Keeping employees safe.
