23 Years of Growth, Technology, and Life at Audible: When Ryan Eland spotted a newspaper ad for Audible's customer service team in 2002, he had no idea it would shape the next two decades of his life. Ryan has been part of nearly every chapter of Audible's story, from helping launch the first Audible app for iOS and Android to becoming Senior Director of Global Customer Engagement, Ryan has grown alongside the technology that changed how the world listens. "I knew we had something special, and it was a matter of time before everyone else would know it, too," he says.

Angela Montez's journey from analyzing complex texts to tackling Audible's extensive codebase exemplifies how diverse backgrounds can bring unexpected strengths to engineering. "My background in English lit actually helped since I'm used to analyzing and interpreting complex texts — now it's codebases instead of literature," she says.
